Ninth on Major League Baseball’s all-time career hits leader board, Yankees captain Derek Jeter was a model of consistent excellence at the plate. This game-used 34-inch Louisville Slugger is the same model he used throughout his 20 seasons as a major leaguer. This one comes from the 2012 season that saw Jeter collect an MLB-high 216 hits. The black Louisville Slugger P72 shows light use and the handle has been cracked in two pieces and secured. A few ball marks and stitch imprints can be seen as well as white leather ball scuffs. A deep depression is found on the right barrel and a light coat of Mota Stick is present on the handle. The date of manufacture "8/22/12", length "34.0" and weight "32.0" are stamped into the knob end. Letter of Authenticity from Steiner Sports and PSA/DNA 1B08967.
