Presented is a 41-card partial set of N13 "Game Birds" non-sports cards issued by Allen & Ginter in 1889. These cards feature colorful cardfronts depicting the various game birds of the time. Missing Black Head Duck, Canada Goose, Canvas-Back Duck, Cormorant, Golden Plover, Great White Heron, Phalarope, Sandpiper and Whooping Crane. One variation is found in this array: Wood Duck, which is found with an upside down back. Grades 5% EX, 57% VG to VG/EX, 38% lesser. Total: 42 cards.
