The face of the Tampa Bay Rays franchise for six seasons and running, third baseman Evan Longoria remains one of the biggest reasons for the team’s success in recent years. The three-time All-Star sported this signed, white Tampa Bay button-down home jersey during a 2010 season that saw Longoria win a second Gold Glove award for his play at the hot corner. “RAYS” is featured across the chest of the jersey in navy blue on white and Carolina blue tackle twill. “LONGORIA” appears across the top back of the jersey in navy blue tackle twill on a white name plate above his number “3,” which is stitched in navy blue on white tackle twill. Longoria signed the jersey just below his number “3” on the reverse size in bold, blue sharpie along with the inscription “GAME USED JULY 30, 2010 vs. YANKEES.” The left sleeve of the jersey features a stitched Rays logo patch, while the front left tail boasts a “Majestic Authentic Collection” manufacturer’s tag and “SIZE 48” label. The jersey shows moderate signs of game use, including a prominent dirt stain on the front just above the manufacturer’s tag. The signed Longoria jersey is verified under the MLB Authentication program, number “LH903448.” Longoria’s signature is PSA/DNA authenticated with certification number “X90290.”
