Gary Sheffield’s outstanding 22-year career in the Majors included no less than nine appearances in the All Star Game. This MLB authenticated Rawlings batting helmet was used in the 2005 Midsummer Classic in Detroit and features the logo of his team at the time, the New York Yankees, emblazoned on the crown. It is signed on the bill in silver Sharpie by Sheffield, along with the words “Game Used 2005 All Star Game,” and the rear of the helmet carries the raised All Star Game Logo. This helmet is in mint condition from Sheffield’s lone at-bat in the contest, which was won by his AL team by a 7-5 score. Comes with a PSA COA.
