Two sets of game used road baseball pants are included in this lot, featuring one from a somewhat unusual venue. One pair of road grays with red and blue piping is from the 2013 season with the Washington Nationals, and includes the designation “36-36, 33, ’13, S2” indicating waist, length, year, and set number. Johnson has signed the right upper thigh along with the words “2013 All Star Game.” The other set of plain gray is labeled, “36-38, 33, 08,” along with the number “5” written in marker on various parts of the waistband. That dates it to his stint as manager of Team USA during the 2008 Olympic Games, which saw his squad bring home a gold medal. It is also signed along with the words “Game Used.” Interesting fact – Johnson had winning records in his final full season at each of his five managerial positions. PSA Pre-Certified.
