Although best known for his 2,632 consecutive games played streak, Cal Ripken Jr holds another streak record that will most likely never be surpassed – 8,243 consecutive innings played. That streak was ended on September 14, 1987, but his quest for Lou Gehrig’s record resumed when he was in the line up the next day. This Louisville Slugger F149 bat dates from Ripken’s 1987-1988 seasons and shows excellent use with a handle crack. Ball marks with stitch impressions can be seen on the barrel. The Hall of Famer has signed the barrel between the center brand and stamped endorsement in silver pen. Letter of Authenticity 1B09508 from PSA/DNA who have graded this bat a GU 8.5.
