Shortly after his stunning 1964 upset over Sonny Liston to win the World Heavyweight Championship, brash young Cassius Clay joined the Nation of Islam and shortly thereafter changed his name to Muhammad Ali. The young champ would stun most fans and reporters with a one-round knockout of the feared Liston in the rematch in what became known as the “Phantom Punch” fight. This pamphlet, measuring 3.5x8.5” was distributed by “The Institute of Islamic Information and Education,” features the name Malcolm X prominently on the cover, and is signed in black ink by the man who lived up to his own billing, coming to be known as “The Greatest of All Time.” PSA/DNA Encapsulated.
