In 1943, the New York Yankees amassed 92 regular season wins on their way to capturing the World Series. This Official American League (Harridge) ball contains 29 signatures from members of that team. Among the notable signatories are Hall of Famers Joe Gordon and Bill Dickey, along with teammates Spud Chandler, Tiny Bonham and Snuffy Stirnweiss. While the autograph of manager Joe McCarthy has been determined to be clubhouse, the remainders are certified authentic, and though there is the expected fading with age most of the signatures are quite legible.
