At 39 years old, "Gus" drank from the fountain of youth and led the Go-Go Sox with a 22-10 record, earning Cy Young Award honors. He also started the All-Star Game at Forbes Field. Crowned by a 5-point diamond and bordered by nice enameling, this NM, size 11-1/2 ring was made from Wynn's original 1959 All-Star 10K-gold charm—the engraved underside of which can still be seen and notes the HOFer's previous Mid-Summer Classic appearances: "EARLY WYNN / 43 55 / 56 57 58." The later-added 10K-gold ring portion displays shank designs of a baseball logo and "ALL STAR 1959." A 1998 purchase LOA accompanies.
