Produced by the DiMaggio Estate, this popular pairing features a Balfour 10K-gold, size 10-3/4 ring (NM, 35 points' worth of diamonds) and a "Joe DiMaggio/Yankee Clipper" photo ball (EX-MT, "9-10")—both of which carry the limited-edition number "6/56." According to our consignor, however, only approximately 20 or 25 of the proposed 56 rings were ever actually issued. Accompanied by the original wooden presentation box (10-1/2" x 12-1/2" x 3-1/2", missing plaque) as well as the ring's 2002 DiMaggio Estate COA and the ball's 1999 Yankee Clipper Enterprises COA. Also includes the 2002 advertising page when the ensemble had a sales price of $3,500.
