Much-beloved Davey Lopes has played, coach, or managed in the majors since 1972. The speedster stole 557 bases in 671 career attempts (an 83% success rate!) and once swiped 38 straight without getting caught. A four-time All Star and one-time Gold Glove winner, Lopes played in 4 World Series, racking up 3 HRs in the '78 losing effort and stealing 4 bases in the '81 triumph. In 1974, he set a Dodgers record with 15 total bases—3 homers, a double and a single. Throughout the 1990s and up through the present day, Lopes has been a devoted coach in Baltimore, San Diego, Washington, Philly and LA, as well as manager in Milwaukee (2000-2002). These championship rings and other items in the Davey Lopes collection come with his signed LOAs.

Lopes collected a triple, a home run, 3 runs and 2 RBIs in the losing World Series effort against the powerhouse Yankees. His Balfour 14K-gold, size 6-1/2 ring features 4 small diamonds on the face. Shank designs include an enameled "Dodgers" logo and an attractive airplane motif. EX condition. Lopes' signed LOA on Dodgers letterhead reads, "This is my one and only original 1977 National League Championship Ring when we lost to the New York Yankees in 4 games."
