After nine standout seasons with the Cincinnati Reds, two of which included All-Star appearances, former outfielder Eric Davis returned to the organization as an extra coach for Spring Training on occasion. That includes in 2014, when Davis sported this signed, game-used Reds batting practice style black button-down jersey. Davis signed the reverse side of the number “44” jersey in bold, black sharpie along with the inscriptions “Game Used,” “Spring Training” and “2014.” The jersey features “Reds” scripted across the chest in white on black and red tackle twill with “DAVIS” across the top back above his number “44” in matching tackle twill style. The front tail of the jersey features a “Majestic Authentic Collection COOL BASE” manufacturer’s label, while the inside collar boasts a size “44” tag. The signed, game used jersey shows light evidence of use, is PSA/DNA certified, number “X90372,” and comes with an LOA from noted sports jersey expert Dave Miedema.
