The colorful cover of this un-scored 7.75 x 10.5 inch program/scorecard features an illustration of two cardinals perched on a bat while the fourteen interior pages include composite photos of each team. The Cardinals ultimately defeated the Yankees in an exciting seven-game series, highlighted by the hung-over Grover Alexander's dramatic strikeout of Tony Lazzeri with the bases loaded in the seventh inning of the final and deciding game, along with Babe Ruth thrown out attempting to steal second base to end the Series. The victory marked the first World Championship in Cardinals franchise history. The unscored program is in nice condition but shows some light edge wear and a center fold most likely from a patron at the World Series putting the program in a back pocket.
