On July 14, 1968 Hank Aaron hid what only 7 other ball players had ever done before – hit his 500th career home run. Once Aaron reached this plateau the next stop was the most coveted record in sports – Babe Ruth’s 714 Career home runs. This bat was used the Home Run Champ during the 1968 to 1970 period which Hank ran his home run total to 592. The Adirondack 63A bat has been made game ready for use by Aaron and is in excellent un-cracked condition. The flame-burned ash has taken on a warm patina through the years and best of all, Aaron has signed the barrel between the center brand and player endorsement. A spectacular bat from the years Aaron was zeroing in on the most coveted record in sports. Letter of Authenticity 1B09570 from PSA/DNA.
