Offered is a game-used bat by future Hall of Fame closer Mariano Rivera, who saved a Major League Baseball record 652 games during his 19-year career with the New York Yankees. Rivera’s Louisville Slugger P72 model bat shows outstanding evidence of game use, with a taped and pine-tarred handle, and several spike marks and ball impressions on the barrel. Rivera signed the barrel in bold, silver sharpie along with the inscription “My game used bat.” Rivera’s 34-inch bat is accompanied by a Steiner COA and PSA DNA LOA, certification number “1B09517.”
