Boston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia is regarded as one of the grittiest players in Major League Baseball, something that is evident after just one look at this game-used jersey from a July 20, 2013 meeting against the rival Yankees. The front of this once-white button-down Red Sox home jersey is highlighted by a massive infield dirt stain stretching from the bottom of the piece all the way to the collar. “RED SOX” appears across the chest of the jersey in red on navy blue tackle twill with Pedroia’s number “15” on the reverse side in matching style. The front tail of the jersey boasts a “Majestic Authentic Collection” manufacturer’s label with a white strip tag below that reads “15 42 ’13.” The game-used Pedroia jersey is certified under the MLB Authentication program, number “EK766366.”
