Ramirez capped off a tremendous 2004 season by being named that year’s World Series MVP as Boston won their first championship since 1918. The following year he hit his 20th career grand slam as he hit .292 and won the Silver Slugger Award. Manny’s Tuff Bats model 24 shows outstanding use with a repaired handle crack. Many ball marks with stitch impressions are visible along with green and black bat rack paint streaks. The impression from a weighted batting donut is visible on the barrel. The handle has been taped in a thin crisscross pattern to enhance the grip and a light coat of Mota Stick is found on the handle. Ramirez’s number “24” is on the knob end in silver marker and the weight “32” is written in silver on the barrel end. Letter of Authenticity (H53001) from PSA/DNA who have given this bat a GU 8.
