Jorge Posada provided one of the consistent parts of five New York Yankees World Series titles, being his usual self by playing solid defense, hitting for power and getting on base. This Louisville Slugger P320 model bat was used during the ’04 season and shows evidence of outstanding use with a repaired handle crack. The barrel is covered with ball marks and stitch imprints with blue ink transfers. There are cleat marks on the barrel and Posada has taped the bat’s handle in a thin crisscrossed pattern to enhance the grip. A heavy coat of pine tar is on the upper handle and a lighter coat on the lower end. Letter of Authenticity (E36306) from PSA/DNA who have given this bat a grade of GU 8.5.
