After five All-Star seasons in nine years with the Yankees, one of which included a World Series ring in 2009, second baseman Robinson Cano took his services to Seattle after striking a big free agency deal prior to the 2014 campaign. This grey button-down, game-used Yankees road jersey comes from Cano’s final season in New York in 2013. “NEW YORK” appears across the chest in navy blue on white tackle twill, while Cano’s number “24” graces the reverse side in matching style. The jersey shows moderate evidence of game use, highlighted by a heavy dirt stain on the left shoulder and sleeve. The back-right shoulder of the jersey also is smattered with dirt stains, while the front of the jersey features a pair of drip stains between a pair of buttons just below “NEW YORK.” The front tail of the jersey features a “Majestic Authentic Collection” manufacturer’s label, with three tags below that read “2013,” size “48” and “Taper.” A New York Yankees butterfly inventory label appears below the manufacturer’s tag and reads “0000003116.” The jersey comes with a Steiner LOA and is verified under the MLB Authentication program, number “EK509080.”
