Taken as the first overall pick in the 2011 entry draft by the Edmonton Oilers, center Ryan Nugent-Hopkins continues to blossom as one of the NHL’s brightest young stars. Offered are a pair of signed, game-used items linked directly to Nugent-Hopkins. The first is a royal blue game-used Oilers helmet from the 2012-13 season. Nugent-Hopkins signed the top of the CCM HTV10 model helmet in bold, silver sharpie along with an inscription of his number “93.” The helmet features an Oakley half shield visor and is affixed with four decals, an Oilers logo on each side and Nugent-Hopkins’ number “93” above the forehead and at the back. CCM and NHL logos also adorn the helmet. The inside features padded protection and a CCM manufacturer’s sticker indicating size “6 7/8-7 3/8.” The helmet boasts two plastic ear pieces and a basic one-button chin strap. The helmet shows moderate signs of game use, including several expected scratches and scuffs. The game-used Oilers puck comes from an Oct. 9, 2011 game against Pittsburgh and is signed by Nugent-Hopkins in bold, silver sharpie just above the Oilers logo. “SHER-WOOD” and “NHL” logos can be found along the outer rim of the puck, which also shows moderate signs of game use. The signed, game-used items both come with LOAs from the Edmonton Oilers and are PSA/DNA pre-certified.
