Hall of Fame shortstop Barry Larkin played all 19 of his big league seasons with the Cincinnati Reds amassing 2,340 hits with a .295 career batting average and was named to 12 NL All-Star teams. Much like his first manager Pete Rose He is a favorite son of Cincinnati and local high school sports star. He was named the NL MVP in 1995 when he hit a career-high .319 with 15 HR, 66 RBI and 51 stolen bases. This 34” Genuine Barry Larkin model C243 Louisville Slugger bat shows outstanding use with plenty of ball and bat rack marks, pine tar and Mota stick residue and a cracked handle. Larkin signed the bat in bold blue sharpie next to the barrel branding with a “95 NL M.V.P,” inscription and his number “11” and model # “C243” are written in black sharpie on the knob end and at the end of the barrel; comes with PSA/DNA sticker #X90328.
