After winning a tiebreaker for the National League pennant over Brooklyn, the 1946 St. Louis Cardinals claimed a World Series victory with a six-game series win over the Boston Red Sox. Among the 28 autographs gracing this Official National League (Frick) ball are Hall of Famers Stan Musial, Enos Slaughter, and Red Schoendienst, along with the likes of Joe Garagiola, Marty Marion, and Dick Sisler. Includes a JSA LOA, which also indicates that the signature of George “Red” Munger is clubhouse. As would be expected, there is some fading due to age though most of the names remain clearly legible.
