A seven-time All-Star in nine seasons with the Atlanta Braves, Brian McCann established himself as one of the best offensive and defensive combination catchers in baseball. This McCann game-used “Mizuno” catcher’s mitt matches the style worn by the now-Yankees backstop during his 2008 season with Atlanta. The tan and black mitt features a stitched Mizuno “M” logo on the top of the hand and black stitched “MIZUNO” emblem along border of the glove’s thumb. The inside of the mitt shows heavy signs of game use; as the leather pocket has been completely worn through, revealing a hole on the surface. The top of the glove also shows signs of erosion, likely from McCann resting the mitt against the ground behind the plate. McCann’s game-used glove comes with a PSA/DNA LOA.
