A three-time All-Star from 1976-80, Dave Kingman earned the AL Comeback Player of the Year Award in 1984, his first season with the Athletics. Kingman, the NL home run champion in 1979 and 1982, would end his career in Oakland in 1986. It is during his time with the A’s that this Louisville Slugger S2 model bat was used by Kingman. The standard finish ash bat measures 35.5 inches and weighs in at 31 ounces. The Kingman bat shows outstanding evidence of game use and remains un-cracked. His number “10” is handwritten on the knob of the game-used bat, which is accompanied by a PSA/DNA LOA, certification number “1B09589.”
