An integral part to the rising success of the Kansas City Royals franchise, first baseman and designated hitter Billy Butler has given the team a reliable option in the middle of the batting order. Butler really broke through in 2012, when he sported this signed, game-used blue button-down Royals alternate jersey. Butler signed the reverse side of his number “16” jersey on the “6” in bold, black sharpie. An All-Star in 2012, Butler’s jersey features “Royals” scripted across the chest with his number “16” on both sides in white tackle twill. “BUTLER” also appears across the top back of the jersey in white tackle twill. The right sleeve of the jersey is home to a commemorative “2012 MLB ALL*STAR GAME” patch, while the left sleeve features the trademark “KC crown” logo patch. The front left tail of the jersey boasts a “Majestic Authentic Collection” manufacturer’s label with “SIZE 50” listed. A series of tags on the inside left seam of the jersey list size modifications, including “+1” sleeve” and “+2”body.” The signature for the jersey is certified under the MLB Authentication program, number “EK609299,”. Also comes with a letter of authenticity from game worn jersey expert Dave Miedema for the game use.
