One of the most recent members of the 500 home run club, Gary Sheffield finished his 22-year career in 2009 with a total of 509 HRs. A nine-time All-Star with a .292 career batting average, Sheffield led the NL with a .330 average in 1992 and hit a career-high 43 home runs for the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2000. A have-bat-will-travel journeyman slugger, Sheffield toiled for eight big league clubs and used this black 34.5-inch, 34.4-ounce Rawlings Big Stick with a silver ring just below the Rawlings trademark label when he hit 25 home runs for the Atlanta Braves in 2002. Cracked bat is wrapped heavily with white adhesive tape around the knob and shows excellent game use with a smattering of large white ball marks around the barrel and comes with PSA/DNA authentic grading certification#1B07262.
