Charles Schulz is an American cartoonist who is best known for his comic strip Peanuts, which features the characters Snoopy and Charlie Brown. Schulz is one of the most influential cartoonists of all time who would see Peanuts later expand into TV specials such as A Charlie Brown Christmas. This canvas ActionPak by Samsonite Tennis Bag once owned by Charles Schulz is signed, “CHARLES M. SCHULZ,” along the front of the bag in his iconic block lettered handwriting. Schulz’s bag is adorned with a Snoopy pin depicting him playing tennis with a racket. Also included is a Thomas Cook travel agency address tag filled out by Schulz, as well as a cap from a Wilson Hard Courts tennis ball can that was left by Schulz in his bag. Item is accompanied by a signed typed letter of provenance from the original recipient.
