Offered here is a unique historical artifact, a small but ornate elephant pin. Measuring one inch wide and one inch high, it was given by President Dwight David Eisenhower to his Secretary, Helen Weaver. The pin is gold colored with silver highlights and is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Weaver’s son, David North. She served as Ike’s personal secretary at NATO Headquarters in Paris in 1951, and was his secretary at the White House from 1953-57.
