This unusual offering carries the stark image of one of the dark figures in the nation’s history. On November 22, 1963, President John F. Kennedy was assassinated and Lee Harvey Oswald was accused of the heinous crime. While in custody just two days later, Oswald was shot and killed by Jack Ruby. This Gelatin silver print photograph measures 7x5” and includes two black and white images of the controversial figure, taken immediately after his arrest. Numbered “3 of 50” by University Archives in Westport, Connecticut, this is a first generation print taken off the original negative and is in excellent condition.
