One of the great Yankee Captain’s most memorable plays is highlighted in dramatic fashion in this unique 16” x 20” two-toned photo of Derek Jeter diving into the seats on the third baseline after making a running catch of a softly floating pop fly of the bat of Boston Red Sox hitter Trot Nixon in the 12th inning of a tense battle with the Sox at Yankee Stadium on July 1, 2004. A leaping Jeter is highlighted in almost three-dimensional full color against a sepia toned backdrop of the fans in the first few rows and teammate Alex Rodriguez and the third base umpire calling the ball fair. Jeter signed the gold leaf framed photo in bright silver sharpie; comes with Steiner Sports Memorabilia COA.
