The Spalding Lee MacPhail Official American League ball has been signed by 7 stars of baseball's post-war era: Hall of Famers Joe DiMaggio, Enos Slaughter, Ralph Kiner and Goose Gossage join four other ballplayers whose exploits stand out in baseball's history:. Ralph Branca, the Brooklyn ace who served up "The Shot Heard Round The World", Johnny Sain - one half of the "Spahn and Sain and 2 Days of Rain" fame and Charlie Hustle himself - Pete Rose. The ball itself appears to have been used in a game or practice and carries the expected scuffs and turf marks. Most of the signatures are in blue ballpoint and are a 7-10/10 range though the DiMaggio 2/10 is very faded. Letter of Authenticity W08215 from PSA/DNA.
