One of the most intimidating relief pitchers Major League Baseball has ever seen, nine-time All-Star Goose Gossage closed 310 games and notched 1,502 strikeouts during an impressive Hall of Fame career. Offered is a green game-used Oakland Athletics jacket from the 1992 and 1993 seasons signed by Gossage in silver sharpie below the stitched “A’s” logo on the left chest along with the inscription “HOF 2008.” “GOSSAGE” appears across the top back of the jacket in white tackle twill with a yellow border. The inside collar of the jacket features a “Starter Diamond Collection” manufacturer’s label with size “XXL” listed. The full-zip nylon jacket with two pockets remains in excellent overall condition and shows minimal signs of wear. A “Starter” ornament hanging from the zipper has been damaged, as the letters “TER” appear to have broken off the end. The signed, game-used jacket comes with a signed COA by Gossage and a MEARS LOA.
