Throughout his long career as the best reliever in baseball history, Mariano Rivera dominated the Red Sox. His 56 saves against Boston almost single handedly settled the age-old Boston-New York rivalry. The Sandman donned this jersey during the September 14, 2013 game at Fenway. The timeless Yankees road jersey has "NEW YORK" arched proudly across the chest in navy and white tackle twill. The sleeves are ringed with navy and white. The Majestic label is sewn in the lower left front tail with added "2013" and size "46" tagging. MLB hologram EK510047 and Steiner 207669 are affixed to the label. A NY Yankees strip tag number 0000003755 is affixed below. The back has Rivera's number "42", the last player to wear that number since it was retired in honor of Jackie Robinson.
