Just five years before displaying his pitching dominance in the Majors – including three World Series titles with his San Francisco Giants – Madison Bumgarner was plying his trade in the minors with the Connecticut Defenders. This Jersey Express make was donned by “MadBum” during his tenure with the Giants’ Eastern League affiliate, where he went 9-1 with a sparkling 1.93 ERA. The blue top has a size 46 tag sewn in the collar; a “CD” logo adorns the front of the shirt while the hurler’s number 10 is sewn to the back of the mesh jersey. Includes a MEARS LOA, which indicates that it was purchased from a Defenders team auction. Shows moderate to heavy use.
