An unaffiliated member of the minor league American Association at the time, the 1933 St. Paul Saints featured several players that had already played or would go on to play in the major leagues including, pitcher Myles Thomas (N.Y. Yankees, Washington Senators), outfielder Rip Radcliffe (Chi. White Sox, Stl. Browns, Det. Tigers), outfielder Ben Paschal (New York Yankees), pitcher Slim Harriss (Phil. Athletics, Boston Red Sox), pitcher Floyd “Three Finger” Newkirk (N.Y. Yankees), first baseman Phil Todt (Boston Red Sox), outfielder Larry Rosenthal (Chicago White Sox) and pitcher Emil Yde (Pittsburgh Pirates). All of the aforementioned players and nine others signed this 11” x 19” black and white team photo on their likenesses in black fountain pen. The photo is in excellent condition, mounted on sturdy poster board and comes with JSA LOA #X01985.
