Over the past 15 years of auction records, 1939 NAPBL Convention badges have surfaced for attendees Eddie Onslow, Bennie Tate and Umpire John Quinn, but never for a Hall of Famer until now. Class of 1945 inductee Jimmy Collins once wore this badge with pride in Cincinnati, just a few years before his passing in 1943. "James J. Collins" is typewritten inside the pinback portion, above the printed ribbon and the beautiful enamel pendant (Bastian Bros. imprint on reverse). Dimensions are 2" x 3-1/4" and condition is EX overall with the radiant pendant itself displaying as EX/MT.
