Houston Astros reliever Kyle Farnsworth wore this full “Turn Back The Clock Night” 1979 uniform on May 24, 2014 as the Astros defeated the Mariners 9-4 at Safeco Field in Seattle. Farnsworth pitched one inning, allowing no runs, no hits, and recording one strikeout. Farnsworth’s white jersey is a Majestic Authentic Collection size 50. “Astros” is sewn in navy blue tackle twill across the chest. The throwback “rainbow” pattern covers half the jersey and a blue star sewn on left side. “FARNSWORTH” sewn on in navy blue on a white nameplate with “44” sewn on in blue/white tackle twill over rainbow pattern on the back of the jersey. The sleeves have rainbow pattern as well and pullover jersey has a blue/orange v-neck with a MLB logo patch in blue and orange on back of the neck – MLB Authentication (HZ 168124).
The white pants are manufactured by Majestic and have an expandable waist size of 38-43. The inseam is 36. The waist has a red band with red/orange/gold/yellow stripes running vertically down each leg. “44” sewn on in navy tackle twill on upper right thigh with minor dirt stains – MLB Authenticated (HZ 168123).
Farnsworth’s orange hat is a fitted New Era On-Field Cap size 7 ¼. On the inside of the cap are inscriptions “SLF” “44” “RIP STRIKE” “MISTY”. Dirt stains are prevalent on the outer brim and the Astros logo on the front, with the MLB logo on back – MLB Authenticated (HZ 168122).
