You name the record and Pedro has earned it - 3 Cy Young Awards, a pitching Triple Crown, 5 times the AL ERA leader, 3 times the AL wins champ, All-Star MVP, a plaque hanging in Cooperstown and a World Series ring on his finger. No pitcher in the early 2000's was a dominant as Pedro. This Rawlings PRO200-4JB glove was game used by Pedro during his Hall of Fame career. The black leather is still soft and pliable and the pocket and fingertips show the exact kind of wear and scratches you'd expect on a pitcher's fielding glove. The black leather webbing and stitching is original and intact as is the red Rawlings embroidered logo. One of the two black metal buttons on the wrist strap has been removed. The outside of the pinky finger has a black "The Gold Glove Company" strip tag sewn on. On the outside of the thumb "Pedro Martinez" is embroidered in white cursive lettering under which "Jerito Nayla" (Pedro's kids) is stitched. Martinez has signed the base of the thumb in nice contrasting white ink (9/10). PSA/DNA sticker 5A48691 is affixed to the base of the wrist. PSA/DNA records state that the glove was signed and authenticated in August 2013.
