Graded EX 5 by PSA. Hailing from the Sporting News release, this set is popular with collectors for their black-and-white photography and poses. The offered card is one of Charles Conlon's - considered by many to be the finest baseball photographer in the history of the game - most famous shots of Cobb, getting ready to bunt. It's interesting to note that as a youngster, Cobb would practice his bunting by laying a sweater on either the first or third base line. His goal was to have the bunted pitches land and come to rest on the sweater. Here's a career-contemporary relic of the "Georgia Peach" in pleasing Excellent condition.
