The winner of three World Series titles in a five-season span, the San Francisco Giants’ sweep of the Detroit Tigers in the 2012 Fall Classic is arguably the most impressive of the bunch. This Angel Pagan game-used Marcucci PS48 Pro Model bat comes from that memorable 2012 campaign and features the signatures of 14 Giants from that World Series squad, all in bold, black sharpie on the barrel. The signatures include World Series MVP Pablo Sandoval, Buster Posey, Brandon Crawford, Gregor Blanco, Matt Cain, Brandon Belt, Jeremy Affeldt, Ryan Vogelsong, Madison Bumgarner, Marco Scutaro, Sergio Romo, Barry Zito, manager Bruce Bochy, and, of course, Pagan, who inscribed the bat “2012 Game Used” and “W.S. Champs.” The bat shows outstanding evidence of game use, including the impression from a weight ring, several paint transfers, areas of grain swelling and a series of spike and bat rack marks. The handle of the bat is covered in pine tar residue, while the knob boasts an engraving of Pagan’s number “16” and a “08/03/12” manufacturing date.” The multi-signed, game-used bat is accompanied by a PSA/DNA LOA, certification number “4A68818.”
