One look at his statistics and it’s amazing to see the type of production Ken Griffey Jr. posted, even with injuries hampering him during the prime of his career. The 1997 American League MVP, sixth on Major League Baseball’s all-time home runs list with 630, proved health issues weren’t going to slow him down. In 2005, the season he sported this signed, game-used white button-down Cincinnati Reds home vest jersey, Griffey was named NL Comeback Player of the Year. “The Kid” hit .301 that season with 35 home runs and 92 RBI. Griffey’s signature appears in black sharpie below his number “30” on the right chest of the jersey. Both Griffey’s number and a Reds logo found on the left chest of the jersey appear in red on white and black tackle twill. “GRIFFEY” is found across the top back of the jersey with his number “30” below, both in red on white and black tackle twill. The front left tail of the jersey features a “Majestic Authentic Collection” manufacturer’s label, with size “46” and “PROPERTY OF CINCINNATI REDS 2005” tags attached below. The signed jersey shows light evidence of game use and comes with a MEARS LOA and PSA/DNA LOA, certification number “T05476.”
