It took almost 100 years, but in 1980 the Philadelphia Phillies finally won a World Championship. Mike Schmidt was on fire that summer hitting 48 home runs and winning the NL MVP Award by unanimous vote. Pete Rose made his brief Philadelphia sojourn count by becoming the spark needed to sustain the team over a hard fought season and Steve Carlton won an astounding 24 games to take home the Cy Young Award. The Phil's crushed the Astros in five games to win the pennant then faced a tough Kansas City team for the Championship. In what was the most-watched World Series to date, the Phillies beat back the Royals in six games to take it all. This memory inducing reproduction powder blue road jersey brings together 23 of those guys who won the first ever Phillies World Championship.

The Big Three are here: World Series MVP Mike Schmidt, Steve Carlton and Pete Rose joined by Bobby Wine, Warren Brusstar, George Vukovich, Kevin Saucier, Greg Gross, Bake McBride, Larry Christenson, Mike Ryan, Lonnie Smith, Garry Maddox, Dallas Green, Marty Bystrom, Ozzie Virgil, Lee Elia, Ron Reed, Del Unser, Larry Bowa, Bob Boone, Sparky Lyle and Dickie Noles. Each player has signed the front of the jersey in black Sharpie making this a spectacular visual display. Certificate of Authenticity W719565 from JSA.
