Opening Day Auction Closing May 9th

Though the 1967 Pittsburgh Pirates did not have a season to remember as a team, one bright start continued to shine as Roberto Clemente led the National League in batting, just one season after earning MVP honors, and the Hall of Famer’s autograph is included herein. In an odd twist, New York Mets rookie Tom Seaver’s distinctive signature is nestled among that of the Buccos, for reasons unknown. In all, 19 signatures adorn this Spalding Official National League (Giles) ball, though the autograph of manager Danny Murtaugh on the sweet spot is clubhouse. Other sigs include Maury Wills, Manny Sanguillen, and Johnny Pesky. Comes with JSA LOA.
