Kevin Garnett’s brief stay in Brooklyn was a successful one as the future Hall of Fame forward helped the franchise reach the playoffs in 2013-14 before the Nets shipped him back to Minnesota the following season. Garnett, a 15-time All-Star, sported this collection of game-used Nets apparel during the 2013-14 season. The first item is a polyester game-used Adidas warm-up jacket with buttoned front that features a stitched chenille Nets logo patch on the left chest and stitched NBA logo patch on the front right tail. The inside seam of the jersey between the bottom two buttons features an Adidas manufacturer’s label that reads “SIZE 2XL2” with Garnett’s number “2” written in black sharpie inside a “PLAYER ID” box. The reverse side of the grey and black warm-up jacket features a prominent chenille Nets logo patch in the center of the back. The mesh Adidas practice jersey reads “BROOKLYN BASKETBALL” in white on the chest above Garnett’s number “2,” which after much use is showing signs of cracking in the design. A “PNY” logo is found on the right shoulder of the jersey, which features Garnett’s number “2” screen printed in white on the reverse side. The front left tail of the jersey boasts an “Adidas” manufacturer’s label with “SIZE 4XL” and an accompanying “LENGTH +2” tag. “GARNETT” is written in bold, black sharpie inside a “PLAYER ID” box on the manufacturer’s label. The pair of game-used Garnett items each comes with a Steiner LOA, certification numbers “213364” (jacket) and “207471” (jersey).
