The latest in the lineage of Yankees legends, during his 20 years in the pinstripes Derek Jeter often drew comparisons to the great “Yankee Clipper” Joe DiMaggio whose number 5 adorns Jeter’s left sleeve in this 16” x 20” photograph taken during the 1999 season when the team honored “Joltin’ Joe” in the season following his death. Jeter’s 1999 season was one for the ages as well, hitting a career high .349 with an American League leading 219 hits, he was voted to his second of 14 all-star teams. Jeter signed this limited edition (59/99) photo contained in 26” x 30” matted frame which also includes a Steiner Sports Memorabilia hologram.
