The film "Safe at Home" is a morality tale about a young boy bragging to his Little League friends that his dad knew Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris, featured the two New York Yankees heroes as playing themselves. Capitalizing on the huge popularity of Mantle and Maris at the time, the movie was released in April of 1962, following the previous season's famous home run race between Mantle and Maris to beat Babe Ruth's home run record. This poster measures 42" x 32" and other notable Yankees cast members included Whitey Ford, Ralph Houk, and David Mantle, Mickey's son, who played a Little Leaguer. This is the much RARER "Art" (non-photo) variation of the poster.
