Not too many ballplayers before or after him have commanded such a dominating presence at the plate as Boston Red Sox Hall of Fame left fielder Ted Williams has. This signed canvas celebrates Williams historic career, highlighting the power behind the man’s swing as he was the last player in the Major Leagues to bat over .400, ending the 1941 season with a .406 batting average. He was also named Triple Crown winner twice, in 1942 and in 1947. Ted Williams is presented on this canvas in a collage of batting poses divided by a few of his career achievements, which few men have ever accomplished. This canvas has been signed by Ted Williams in blue fiber-tip marker along with the inscription, “42 47 T.C.” and is a deluxe edition numbered, “3 of 9.” This work of art done by artist S.Parson measures 44-1/2 x 34-1/2” and comes with LOA from JSA (Y45252).
