This is the phenomenal signed display featuring a 20 X 16 color photograph of Derek Jeter sliding into third base that he has boldly signed with his scripted large signature in blue sharpie pen; beautifully framed with a game used base from the much celebrated 2009 historic World Championship season played during the inaugural season at the new Yankee Stadium. All four sides of the base are adorned with the Yankees logo designed to celebrate the 2009 Inaugural Season of Yankee Stadium and title “New York Yankees.” Jeter batted .334 during the regular season and hit for an average of .407 in the World Series in which the Yankees defeated the Phillies for the World Championship. Jeter earned the American League Rookie of the Year Award during his first full season with the Yankees (1996) and continues to enjoy a remarkable career. In 2000, Jeter became the only player in history to win both the All-Star Game MVP Award and the World Series MVP Award in the same year. In 2011 Jeter became the first Yankee player to hit 3,000 hits in his career and in 2012 Jeter set the record for playing in the most games wearing a Yankees uniform. Jeter's hard style of play and team spirit has endeared him to countless fans and has earned him All-Star status, Gold Glove Awards and 5 World Series rings to date.
