After the attack on Pearl Harbor the United States officially entered World War II. The Enola Gay a B-29 Superfortress Bomber, was selected by pilot Colonel Paul Tibbets. Their mission would lead them to Hiroshima, Japan where the Enola Gay would be the first aircraft to drop an atomic bomb over a foreign enemies city. The aftermath of which caused untold destruction. This multi-signed 8x10 black and white photograph is signed in blue marker by the Enola Gay crew. It features the signatures of Richard Nelson, Theodore Van Kirk, Thomas Ferebee and Paul Tibbets. Item comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (V13007).
