1938 Chicago Cubs team signed ONL baseball features signatures from notable players Pitcher Dizzy Dean and Player-Coach Tony Lazzeri, both of whom are members of Major League Baseball’s Hall of Fame. 1938 saw the Chicago Cubs finish first in the National League with a record of 89-63 and the team finished runner-up to the New York Yankees in the 1938 World Series. Other notable signatures include Hall of Fame Second Baseman Billy Herman, three time All-Star Outfielder Augie Galan, and five time All-Star Third baseman Stan Hack. There are over a dozen autographs on the baseball and the ball shows a good amount surface wear. This baseball comes with a LOA from JSA Authentication.
